Recently while searching E-Bay for old Mega Halo sets, I came across this 2010 Store Display. For those who were collecting back then, you might remember seeing this display in Target or Toys R Us.
The display case measures about 24 x 15 x 14.5 and includes elements from the following 2010 Mega Halo sets:
96822 HALO WARS COMBAT UNIT 3
96832 COVENANT WRAITH
96833 UNSC WOLVERINE
96849 UNSC MONGOOSE
96866 UNSC TROOP TRANSPORT
The more I look at this case the cooler it gets. It's really a mini diorama. The back drop is Halo ring"iesk". The floor looks like a topographical map of some desert area on one of the Halo Rings. And to top it all off, it has lights and sounds that simulate battle field explosions. This case really makes me think about the old arcade game "Fire Team Raven".
I hope this post brings back fun memories of Halo hunting back in the day.
