9,900 Steel (Teal) Spartans where produced.
Mega only made 100 of the Active Camo Spartan set.
Although Mega re-released the Active Camo Spartan in the Blind Bag Series 1 set, the mail-away is the only time they released the Active Camo Shotgun.
Collector's note: Mega released three versions of the old articulation "Steel" Spartan II in Mark IV armor. The first was release as part of an online promotion in 2009 (this one and it is more teal than steel). The second version was released in 2010 and may have been a European exclusive. The third version was released as part of the 2014 SPARTAN TRIBUTE PACK.

Box & Packaging:

The Steel and the Active Camo Spartan both came in the same mailing packaging. The back of the promotional flyer was the same for both figures. The only difference was the front of the flyer. See forth picture in the gallery below.

Below are examples of how the giveaway came in the mail. The postage was simply put on the sleeve.

Weapons & Accessories:

The Steel Spartan was issued a black M90 Shotgun (v1) (see picture below). The Active Camo Spartan was issued a clear Active Camo M90 Shotgun (v1) (no picture available.)
