Mega had plans to release a version of the Brute Honor Guard as part of their 2014/2015 Halo product line. Prototypes were made and the figures were displayed at the 2014 New York City Toy Fair (see pictures below). Mega released the first two pictures on their Mega unboxed site to give fans a preview of things to come. The third picture was take at the 2014 NYC toy fair by Halo Fan For Life.
It appears the Honor Guard figures where going to be a part of a set which included two Honor Guards, one prophet one Spartan (probably Master Chief), and a Jackal sniper. The set was canceled and the figure was ultimately never released.
