This set has a copyright date of 2011. The Mega Construx website has it as a 2012 release but the set number 96928, would indicate this was a 2011 set.
This set was re-released in 2013 as set 97074 Arctic Covenant Drop Pod.
This set was part of Mega Bloks Halo Armory Series. These sets included one complete figure and body parts to "Pop 'n Swop" with body parts on the main figure to form a completely different figure.
