The games and books give us several canonized versions of the Rockethog. This version by Mega is based on the M12A1 Warthog with a M79 MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) as seen in Halo Reach.
The Covenant Anti-Aircraft Gun is based on the Type-38 "Tyrant" Anti-Aircraft Gun seen in Halo Reach.
This set was inspired by the Halo: Reach mission Tip of the Spear - "Neutralize Enemy AA Gun.

The Mega Construx website has the Jump Pack listed a "Jet Pack." The item is a Jump Pack which allows the Brutes to "jump" great distances. A Jet Pack actually allow them to fly. The Brutes do not us Jet Packs.
